Connect your YouTube channel to your AI agent.
Connect YouTube, work with your AI agent, and approve what happens next. Here’s what you need to get started.
Three steps to your first connection
- 1
Give your agent the install prompt
Use Muse, Grok bot, Claude, Gemini, Codex, or another AI agent with terminal and workspace access. Your agent handles the technical setup.
- 2
Sign in and approve your agent
Open the sign-in link your agent gives you. Complete your chosen sign-in method on the SocialCli page, review the access request, and approve the installation yourself.
- 3
Connect your YouTube channel
Open the new connection link, choose Connect, and sign in with Google. Review the permissions, select your exact channel, and confirm it. Wait for Account confirmed.
Keep passwords and email codes in the sign-in page. Never paste them into an agent conversation.
Connecting isn’t permission to publish
Ask your agent to check channel stats, review comments, or prepare a video upload. Before it publishes or changes anything, review the complete preview and approve that exact action.
“Check my YouTube channel and show me new comments. Draft replies for my review.”
If an action’s result is unclear, ask your agent to verify what happened before trying again.
Access, connections, and your plan
In My Account, you can review connected accounts and approved agents, revoke an agent’s access, disconnect a channel, manage your plan, or request account deletion.
This launch is focused on YouTube. Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok are coming soon, subject to platform approval.
Open My AccountDeleting your SocialCli account does not delete published videos or files stored by your agent. See our privacy policy and terms.
Need a hand?
My connection link expired or didn’t work.
Ask your agent for a new link and open it yourself. Connection links last 10 minutes and cannot be reused once used or canceled. Agent sign-in has a separate 30-minute window. Keep the agent’s connection process running while you finish.
I can’t see the YouTube channel I want.
Check that you’re signed in to the Google account that has access to that channel. Confirm the exact channel name before continuing. If it still doesn’t appear, tell your agent what you see; don’t confirm a different channel.
My agent says the connection failed.
Ask it to check connection status and report the specific error. A timeout or incomplete report does not by itself mean you need to reconnect. If a change may have gone through, verify it before repeating it.
Can I use any AI assistant?
Your agent needs terminal access and a persistent workspace. A chat-only assistant cannot run SocialCli directly. Give a compatible agent the install prompt above; it will check the requirements.
How do I remove access?
Open My Account to revoke an agent or disconnect YouTube. To withdraw the Google authorization itself, also remove SocialCli in your Google account’s connected-app settings.
Where can I get more help?
Ask your agent to collect the error message and explain which step failed. You can contact SocialCli support. Do not include passwords, email codes, tokens, or private account data in a public report.
